Fall Beauty Standouts
Hello November! The cold weather has officially arrived and my skin desperately needed some extra TLC. I‘ve done lots of beauty shopping lately and I wanted to share with you some of my favorites to get us through the next few months. These are my fall beauty standouts.
L'Occitane Cleansing And Softening Almond Shower Oil
With the cold weather I focus on adding moisturizing elements in every part of my body care routine. This shower oil transforms, when in contact with water, into a sheer, milky lotion that gently cleanses the body without stripping it of moisture. It formulated with almond oil which has made the biggest difference in how my skin feels and stays moisturized.
Al Haramain Amber Oud
I’ve been trying out Arabian fragrances lately since I’ve heard they really give the best bang for your buck. This one blew me away. It’s is a pretty undetectable dupe for MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 (which is $350-$650). I own both and on the dry down I can’t really tell a difference between the two. Projects wonderfully, very long lasting, and my favorite part…it’s less than $100.
Hada Labo Tokyo Skin Plumping Gel Cream
I got this gel cream at the recommendation of one of my favorite influencers and fell in love. It’s a rich gel that feels so luxurious on the skin and dries down leaving a beautiful glow. Right after applying it has a slight tackiness making it a great base for makeup.
The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum (formerly “Buffet”)

A serum that does a little bit of everything for my skin and is really affordable. I mainly use it after derma rolling and on days I want to give my skin a break from acid treatments. It’s a great well rounded serum to use under a moisturizer. Also the brand’s whole site is 23% off through the month of November so it’s a great time to stock up on some affordable skincare.
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume
Some of my skin treatment products really dry me out and can make my skin a bit temperamental. Even more so with the cold weather. I was expecting this to have a Vaseline-like feel to it based on the description. But it’s actually a rich cream that my skin loves. It has a soothing element to it so it helps with many different skin concerns including dryness and irritation.
French Girl Rose Lip Polish
Can’t get caught slipping with crusty lips lol. This lip scrub removes the dead skin and has a minty element to it that I really enjoy. Once or twice a week keeps my lips soft and flake free.
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask
This balm makes my lips feel so soft and luscious. It’s also packed with vitamin c and antioxidants. It’s really a top tier lip balm!
Elf Power Grip Primer
I got this on a whim looking for a new primer that works with my oily skin to extend my makeup wear but also allows me to keep a soft dewy look. This was a win for me. It applies very tacky and you’ll need to wait at least 30 seconds before applying foundation but with it my makeup lasts and lays beautifully.
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Triple Repair Moisturizing Body Cream
I hate that I waited so long to try this. I’m a big fan of La Roche-Posay skincare and everything I’ve tried so far has worked very well for me. This body cream paired with the Pure Naturals sweet almond oil is a great moisturizer locking body combo. It’s rich with ingredients like shea butter and niacinamide and my skin loves it.
Pure Body Naturals Sweet Almond Oil
One time this oil was out of stock so I ordered another brand thinking it would feel the same. I was highly mistaken. Every time I apply this oil before my moisturizer, my skin stays soft and moisturized all day/night. Which is particularly impressive this time of year. I’ve only strayed once from the Pure Naturals brand but that was enough confirmation for me that this is the one.
